Pattern #11
Description
This clean simple design makes a bold fashion statement. This blouse has one piece (or shape) cut out four times. These pieces are sewn at shoulders, neck, and side seams only. This leaves the generously overlapped pieces free to soft movement.
You do have the option to add buttons or a little controlled stitching if desired. The blouse slides on and off over the head. Hem length can be adjusted for your personal style. Consider adding a contrasting color for the facings. Add some top stitching or interesting front embellishments. This pattern is very quick and easy to sew.

Yardage
Note: If you want to use more than one fabric then check the cutting layout for yardage for each fabric. |

Sizing
If you are a small lady you may need to cut the neck opening a little smaller. The rest of the sizing will be done at the "on the body" fitting before you finish. At this time bust darts can be added if needed.
This pattern sizes from small to XXLarge.
Fabric Suggestions
I recommend fabric with a tight stable weave and not much stretch, because of the center opening semi-bias cuts. Choose fabric with a medium drape — nothing too stiff because of the roomy unstructured design. Consider combining two fabrics or color blocking..
