Pattern #15
Description
The unstructured jacket has center front and back panels, giving you a perfect opportunity to add personal touches (a special fabric, piecing, or embellishing). It has a narrow mandarin collar — or finish the neckline with bias. Piping is added to panel seams and shoulder seams for extra detailing. Pockets are included.
The dress has front and back panels with a slightly raised waist seam. There are ties at the waist so you can add some shaping. There are vertical draw strings added to the front hem — an option that adds a nice surprise to a simple dress. The large pull-on T-shirt repeats the hem drawstring option.
The straight-legged pull-on pants have elastic waist and inseam pockets. You can choose to repeat the drawstring detailing, or leave this out and cut the pants longer.
The tunic blouse is sleeveless with center bodice buttons and a 3-piece skirt (peplum) that buttons onto the bodice. Or you can cut these sleeves off, open the front bodice, add buttons, and make a tunic top. A pull-on skirt completes the pattern.

Sizing
There are NO set-in sleeves in this pattern and very simple pull-on pants so sizing is VERY EASY for all pieces. All you do is check neck openings and adjust if needed, then move all the side seams in or out for your measurements. When you do your "on the body" fitting you will make any needed fitting adjustments before you sew up side seams.
Sizes from small to XXLarge. Great for plus sizing.
Fabric Suggestions
For the jacket, generally you will want to use a fabric with medium drape and weight. It should have enough body to feel like a jacket, but not be stiff. However, the center panels are a great area to show off a home dec type of fabric because these panels don’t need as much drape as the side panels.
All the other pieces are roomy, unstructures designs so you want to pick fabric with a tight weave and soft to medium-soft drape and body. Anything too stiff will add unwanted visual pounds.
